Today my class participated in the Words alive discussion part two of the Kite Runner. Unfortunely I wasn't able to be present at that time, also I haven't had a chance to finish the ending of the book wich I'am relly loking foward on finishing te book.

Bridge Blog

1. Are you entering your bridge for strenght or looks? Explain..
Yes.. I'm going to enter it for strenght, I choosed strenght because for me it was easier to do then for looks.Took less time then it would've if I would of done it for looks.

2.Talk about the contruction of your bridge. (why did you build it the way you did?) I think that my brige looks okay, not with that much strenght but so-so. The reason I built it the way I did was because I wanted it to enter it for strenght and the way .I built a beam bridge, put 8 layers of sticks to make it last a little longer so it may resist a couple of more weights.It's simple but I like it.

3.How do you think your bridge will do at the competition? How much weight do you think your bridge will hold? I think it would do okay at the competition,well i dont have an exact number but I wish it will hold a couple maybe 30 and up i'll be okay with that.

4.Anything else You want to add?
Hmm Just hope my bridge lasts a while.

The Taliban Rules

1. Go to school.
-Females may not study at schools,universities, or any other educational institution.

2. Leave my house with no male walking with me.
- Females may not participate in any activity outside the home unless accompained by a close male relative such as father,brother or husband.

3. Wear make-up.
-Females may not use cosmetics.

4. Talk loud, love laughing.
- Females should not laugh loudly- no strangers should hear a womens voice.

5. Ride the bus.
-Females & men may not travel on the same bus.

6. Like wearing bright colors such as (pink,blue,aqua,yellow.etc.)
_Females may not wear Brightly colored clothes that can be considered "sexually atractting colors)

7. Like wearing caprices,show my ankles,knees,elbows.
- Females must wear a long Veil (BURQA) wich covers them from head to toe.

8. Have my home window open.
- All home windows must be painted so females cannot be seen from outside their home.

9.Talk to my friends, got to the mall, movies talk to guy friends.
- Females may not shake hands? or talk with males that are not in their family.

My academic goal for this year is to go back and read The Kite Runner in some parts I wasn't here for.
for example the way that im going to achive this goal is by
1.taking the book home and reading it.
2.taking notes in some parts of the book I wasn't here for, Put stickies on the book,write down words that I don't understand.

My second goal is to get a job.
1. Go to the malls or places and ask for applications.
2. Apply on the internet.

My last but not least goal is to lose weight,
1. Not eat a lot of fast food at least 2-3 times a month.
2. jog/run-walk around the park at least 1hr each day.

Those are my goals to achive in this year.
